The interconnected nature of modern society has led to cultural exports and the rise of international pop culture, whether it be the presence of American TV shows abroad, or manga, anime, and K-pop in the US. Today many language-learning solutions help us communicate, but few focus on what initially inspired a large portion of language-learners in the first place: pop-culture.

Our web application provides a proven three-step model for vocabulary acquisition utilizing a popular form of Japanese media: anime.

ONE: select a specific anime episode's vocabulary pack, and learn the words through our online quizzes.

TWO: watch the episode on preferred third-party sources, such as Netflix or Crunchyroll.

THREE: review the words back on Flashpopz!
